August 19,2008, InterActive Financial Marketing Group (IFMG),a division of Dominion Enterprises in Richmond, Virginia, announced a data loss breach.
IFMG offers subprime auto financing for auto dealers. If you purchased a vehicle between November 2007 and February 2008, you may already be a victim of identity theft.
IFMG was hacked into during that time period, names, social security numbers, and other personal information of 92,095 applicants for credit are at risk.
IFMG is used by auto dealers for financing in 46 states.
